In astronomy, putting the Sun at the center of the Solar System is known as heliocentrism, while putting the Earth at the center is called geocentrism.

هذا معنى مقالي في اختيار النقطة 0 التي تنطلق منها المحاور أو ما يسمى بنقطة المراقب.

وهذا دليل ضدك، فهم حينما اخترعوا فرضية دوران الأرض حول الشمس أخذوها في 365.25 يوم تقريباً، لكنهم حينما اعترضوا اعترضوا على أن الشمس لا تسلك نفس المسار لمدة يوم واحد، فهذا إذن اعتراض مرفوض لعدم توافق الظروف.

إذن فالموضوع كله كان لتبسيط فهم الدوران، فنموذج دوران الكواكب حول الشمس أسهل فهماً من نموذج دوران الشمس والكواكب حول الأرض.
