نعم اخي الكريم
فقد نشأ الشيخ محمد عبدالوهاب رحمه الله في بيئة كان يسودها الجهل بالدين وانتشار البدع والشرك والقبور والطواف حولها ...الخ
فاراد ان يجدد الدعوة الى الدين الصحيح دين محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وصحابته الكرام والسلف الصالح رضي الله عنهم اجمعين
فكان لدعوته وقع الصاعقة على اصحاب البدع والخرافات وخافوا على انفسهم من هذه الدعوة الصادقة فراحوا يروجون الاكاذيب على هذا الشيخ المبارك حتى يصدوا عنه وعن دعوته ... وكان ذلك مصداقا لقوله تعالى:

ومثال ذلك مذكرات همفر الوهمية التي اخترعها احد علماء الرافضة ليدعي ان الشيخ محمد عبدالوهاب كان ياخذ تعليماته من عميل بريطاني اسمه همفر...
